Course Overview

Lean Management is the set of the principles and processes of the business which are intended at elimination of the inefficient expenditure of the resources and improving efficiency. Companies are applying the practices of lean management and looking for lean managers who can guide them towards profitability by increasing the cost, quality and delivery.

The Lean Management course gives an in-depth knowledge regarding lean enterprises and the philosophy that lies behind the process of lean manufacturing. The process of lean manufacturing has transformed into a total solution to pursue the business which was earlier used as a tool for minimizing waste and improving efficiency. This course covers all the essential tools and the principles of lean with the relevant examples that will help in understanding the working of lean enterprises.

Course Content

The course will focus on the applications of lean principles and Toyota Production System (TPS) sectors outside of the automotive. It will discuss theories and how lean thinking could be implemented and sustained within the organization.

Course Methodology

The training is going to be highly interactive combination of lectures, group discussions, questionnaires, individual reflections, role plays, simulations and videos.

Target Audience

Lean Management training course is designed for the senior managers of all departments in an organization who are interested in adopting the culture of continuous improvement within the organization. The sectors may comprise of transport, manufacturing, mining, wholesale and retail trade, and food and beverage.
